I-5 Ramp Closures Between SR-118 and SR-170

If you live or work in the Arleta area, we don't need to tell you that there's a freeway construction project underway (specifically, a carpool lane project). Evidence abounds, including orange construction signs, heavy equipment and ramp closures. Check out the map above for the latest long-term ramp closures. (View larger image here.)
Recognizing the inconvenience that ramp closures cause, Caltrans aims to stagger ramp closures, which means it’s rare that you’ll have to go more than one ramp out of your way. There are some exceptions, of course, particularly when ramps are very close together, but that's the exception rather than the rule.

In addition to the map above, you get closure info for this project in a couple other ways:

   > Visit the planned closures page on the Caltrans website.

   > Sign up for automatic closure notices on the I-5 website.
   > Check out the closure lists posted on the I-5 website.

And you can always give us a call on the toll-free I-5 hotline (855.454.6335) and we’ll answer all your ramp-related queries, plus any other burning I-5 questions you may have. We’re here to help.
