55-hour Closure on San Diego Freeway (I-405)

As part of the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project, up to three lanes of northbound I-405 will be closed between the Montana Avenue and Getty Center Drive off-ramps beginning this Friday night, March 1 for 55 hours.

The project contractor will be repaving and striping within this 2.4-mile portion of freeway.  Southbound I-405 will remain fully open and Sepulveda Boulevard will be fully operational during this time.  

Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate northbound routes if necessary.  Motorists can monitor real-time traffic conditions at by visiting Caltrans Quickmap at http://quickmap.dot.ca.gov.
