Caltrans will continue to upgrade existing bridge rails at multiple locations along the Hollywood Freeway (US 101) between North Broadway and Lankershim Boulevard.  The project is expected to finish Winter 2014. 

Construction activities for the next two weeks are as follows:

July 28 through August 11
Intermittent nightly closures, Sunday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Northbound US 101
North Broadway on-ramp
Lankershim/Ventura Boulevard off-ramp

Southbound US 101
Lankershim Boulevard on-ramp
Vine/Franklin off-ramp

State Route 110/US 101
Grand Avenue on-ramp to SR-110

Closures include lanes and ramps within the project parameters.  Some weekend work may be required, excluding holidays.  Motorists, local businesses and residents may experience noise and vibration from construction activities.  Expect traffic delays, plan ahead and leave early.

The contractor for this $4.3 million project is Peterson-Chase of Irvine, California.
